Working families still in poverty in UK - 31st of Jul, 2007
Millions of children are living in poverty in the UK today despite having a parent or sometimes two in paid employment. The Campaign to End Child Poverty is calling on the Government to work across Government departments to look at in-work poverty for families; to ensure that work pays and to ensure that accessible good quality childcare is available to enable parents to return to work or further education and training.
