20 November 2006 Children hand Christmas wish to The Chancellor, and Government Ministers, Jim Murphy MP and Beverley Hughes MP on steps of the Treasury on Universal Children’s Day. The Children will be giving each Minister a seasons greetings card on the final day of the Month of Action to End Child Poverty. Within the cards will be the names of over 100 senior figures who support the campaign including Chief Executives and Trustees of member organisations, Religious leaders and the Kaiser Chiefs who have all signed up to join the Campaign to End Child Poverty’s call to the Government to commit more resources to ending child poverty.
3 November 2006 National MP's Day Out MP’s and Government Ministers visit projects and schools across the country in national MP’s Day Out for the Month of Action to End Child Poverty.
On October the 17th the End Child Poverty Month of action was launched, with a letter to the Chancellor.

6 July 2006 Unequal Choices: Voices of experience – ECP Launch new report Unequal Choices, published by End Child Poverty in association with the Joseph Rowntree Foundation chronicles the views of families in poverty across the United Kingdom. ECP is urging the Government to listen to the views of families in poverty as an essential part of finding the solution to enable the UK to reach its target of ending child poverty by 2020.
