Launch of Barnardo's report on child poverty - 22nd of May, 2007
The stark impact of child poverty is highlighted today in ‘It doesn’t happen here: The reality of child poverty in the UK’ a report launched by Barnardo’s. The report, which focuses on what life is like for the poorest families in the UK and the real hardship they face, is calling for the government to invest £3.8 million to reach the 2010 target of halving child poverty.
